Zoom Video Participation: Access, Process & Rules

On Monday, February 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., the CPNMD board of directors will host a special board meeting regarding the proposed Inclusion (merger) of CPNMD’s Water & Wastewater Utilities with those of the Parker Water & Sanitation District (PWSD). During the special board meeting, PWSD representatives will join the CPNMD board in presenting the proposed Inclusion. Immediately following the presentation, the CPNMD board of directors will host a public comment period, via Zoom, and subsequently vote on the proposed Inclusion.

We understand hundreds of residents will want to address the board for three minutes each during the public comment period. We urge residents to watch the proceedings via live video stream from our homepage and/or subsequently watch the archived video recording.

In lieu of Zooming in, we respectfully ask residents to please share their Inclusion-related comments and questions with us in advance of the special board meeting. To do so, please click on the E-MAIL US @ icon in the upper right of our homepage and complete the online form. We will respond to each inquiry as quickly and substantively as possible.

Residents who wish to address the board during the public comment period will need to complete the Zoom registration form below, before 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021; staff will email you a Zoom link and passcode that afternoon.

Step 1: View, download, or print the applicable board meeting agenda at cpnmd.org/board-meetings.

Step 2: At your earliest convenience, anytime before 10:00 a.m. on the day of the board meeting, complete the brief sign-up form below.

Step 3: On the afternoon of the board meeting, we will email to you a Zoom video access link and passcode.

Step 4: Five minutes before the meeting starts, click on the video access link imbedded in the email from staff and enter your passcode.

Step 5: Please be patient and wait in the virtual waiting room until the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. Use these few minutes to turn on, and appropriately adjust, the camera, mic, speakers, and volume of the desktop, laptop, pad, or other device you are using.

Step 6: During the designated times on the agenda (i.e., opening and closing public comment periods and public hearings), when we call on you, please clearly state:

  • First and last name;
  • Home address; and
  • The neighborhood/subdivision in which you live (e.g., Bristlecone, Forest Park, Kings Crossing, Serena, Tapestry Hills, Winterberry, Esperanza, etc.).

Step 7: Please share your thoughts with the board for a maximum of three minutes.

Step 8: If you are disconnected during the meeting, and still want to share your thoughts with board during the meeting, simply click on the same Zoom access link imbedded in the email from staff, and re-enter your passcode.
